Qian is an Animation Director and Illustration artist currently based in Stoke-on-Trent, U.K. She specialises in 2D frame-by-frame animation, by crafting vibrant, imaginative worlds through expressive character design, rich colour palettes, and hand-painted textures.
Her work often draws inspiration from nature, dreams, and surreal moments of daily life, resulting in whimsical visual narratives. Working with a range of outputs from editorial to branding and music, she has worked with many Global clients like The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, WIRED, Penguin Random House, Coldplay, Hyundai, GIPHY, Bon Appetit, Barron's, Khruangbin, W and so on.
