MUTE is a 2D Motion Design studio specialising in beautiful slick and simple animations.
MUTE, aka George Shelbourn, had the first experience of animation at the tender age of 5. The stop animation class did not enthrall him at the time and he decided animation was not for him. After 7 years of playing in a band and not quite reaching the dizzy heights he expected he decided it was time for a real job and he gave animation another shot.
His first short film became a Vimeo Staff Pick and he has not looked back. He went on to became Head of Animation at Casual Films and after 5 years in that position working for the likes of IBM, Samsung, PwC and Wimbledon he decided to branch out on his own to create MUTE animation producing beautiful work.
Previous clients include; Sony, The LA Philharmonic, O2, Swarovski, Harper Collins, Arsenal FC, Wolff Olins, The Guardian, and Nurofen.
